These days, we’re constantly inundated with images of earth-destroying, man-made devastation. It’s impossible to not be a part of this and realize just how destructive it is. For every natural disaster, there are countless man-made ones that are the result of a misguided government, corporations, or an individual.

NASA is a government agency that has been involved in the process of researching and developing new space technologies. But NASA has also been responsible for several deadly disasters in the past. For example, a massive explosion that occurred on the fiftieth anniversary of the Challenger disaster killed seven astronauts and injured over a hundred. NASA has also been a part of the infamous Shuttle disaster that killed three astronauts on July 7th, 1983.

We can’t forget the Shuttle disaster. It was the worst disaster in U.S. history, with nearly all of the shuttle program’s eleven astronauts killed. NASA has been involved in a rash of other disasters, with some deadly ones too. For example, the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded after being launched over the Atlantic Ocean on February 28th, 1986.

NASA has been involved in several other deaths too. One was on April 1st, 1992, when a faulty fuel tank caused the space shuttle Columbia to explode two years into the mission. Two astronauts died after a parachute malfunction in 2002, leaving the crew stranded on the ground for 45 minutes.

In case you hadn’t noticed, NASA has been involved in a few deaths recently. And then there was the time that a Russian-made space rocket exploded and sent a Russian cosmonaut down to Earth. That was on April 27th, 2014. That was also a dangerous mission because the rocket was carrying a Russian cargo of the kind that could cause a major explosion.

These days, a space mission is a dangerous mission because of things like the Soyuz spacecraft, or worse yet, a Soyuz launch failure. That’s why we’re not on the ground yet, but we’re still a long way behind.

Yeah, it’s really sad to see that the Russians are so busy with space that they can’t be bothered to keep up with what’s going on in the world we live in. Thats what makes them so dangerous.

And you can’t blame them for their attitude. They’ll fight us all the way to the finish line, but they will lose.

The space race has been a long time coming. In its early days, the Americans were the ones who were the first to truly put their money where their mouth was. They bought and developed the first space shuttle, and then spent the next few decades fighting the Russians. The Russians never really gave up their space race, because they kept building rockets, and eventually a space station.
