I’ve been blogging at www.scotteastwood.com since 2004. I’ve been writing for the past 8 years in the field of business and marketing and have been consulting for organizations such as the State of New York Department of Environmental Conservation and the New York State Department of Health. I’ve also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal Magazine.
The name of my blog is a tribute to the late actor, director, and producer Scott Eastwood. Ive been interested in my own writing since I was a teenager and have been studying marketing, sales and leadership for the past 2 years.
Scott Eastwood was born in 1953 to a military family in California. After graduating from high school, he began working as a newspaper reporter, while getting involved in other projects at the same time. In 1981, he started writing for television, and within five years had written, produced and directed 6 Emmy Award winning shows.
From there he moved to New York to work in the advertising industry. Within 2 years he had moved on to writing and directing movies and television pilots. He continued to write, as well as produce, for television even after leaving the industry. The success of many of his scripts led to his being recognized as one of the most prolific and versatile writers in history.
He wrote the original “The X-Files” and “The Twilight Zone” TV series, as well as the “Star Trek” movie adaptation, and directed a few episodes of “The Twilight Zone.” He also directed the “Star Wars” films, and was the producer of the “Star Trek” movies.
The characters are all on screen.
All of them. He even wrote the movie pilot for the recently rebooted Star Trek series. He also wrote the original pilot for the show, and was the producer.
Of course he’s a writer, but this show is so cool and it looks so fun to watch that I have to know more. He’ll be taking a part in the series too.
I think the Star Trek cast is basically the same in the show as the cast was the same in the original Star Trek. They all have similar things going on in their lives, and they do the same things in the new characters. They have been a good group of people to have seen. They were great to have in the first series of the Star Trek show. And they all have the personality, but they don’t have the character to be the same level.
As a fan of Star Trek I was really excited for the return of these characters. But I also knew that the show was going to have a few changes. What I didn’t expect was that the new cast would be so similar that I didn’t even realize that they were the same person.
