A bit of a background on Shannon Marie Hart. I have been a photographer for about a year and a half now and I have been on the path of photography for about 14 years. I’ve been doing it professionally for the past 5 years. I really enjoy the process of planning and going out on shoots and photographing people. I also enjoy the process of photographing my clients.
Shannon Hart has been a professional photographer since 2005 and she was also an official photographer for the Olympic games in 2008. She currently resides in Virginia Beach. She is married and has a son.
Shannon is the oldest of 4 children. Her grandfather was a World War II Marine who was killed in a bombing raid on their home in their home state in the spring of 1944. The family moved to the Carolinas in 1961. Shannon has been married to her husband, Paul, since 2005. They have a son, Adam, who was born in 2004.
Although she’s lived in California for the past 10 years, she’s been a freelance writer for a couple of years now. She’s also served as an Assistant Writer in the book “The Art of the Road” for the Art Newspaper. She’s currently working on the next “The Art of the Road” series with the rest of the production team.
Shannon has written a number of short stories and poems. She was recently published in Aspirin and was also shortlisted for the 2015 National Book Award for Poetry for her novella “The Night of the Dog” and the 2016 National Book Award for Poetry for her novella “Laughter in the Rain.
shannon marie and I have been friends for a number of years. She’s a very talented writer with a good sense of humor, and I love the kind of stories she makes. Her short stories have appeared in Aspirin, The Rumpus, and the Canadian Book of Short Stories.
Shannon has also been a regular contributor to the literary magazine The Rumpus. She teaches and publishes at a number of universities and in her free time she likes to write poetry and stories.
Shannon is a poet, so she’s probably a little bit more familiar with poetry than I am, but I’ve always found her writing very interesting and, at the same thing, quite beautiful. She is the author of a book of poetry about the experience of being pregnant with her first son, Laughter in the Rain, which was released in September 2013.

Shannon has this weird sort of sense of humor that makes her want to tell stories that are funny at every turn. I love that about her. But even more than that, Shannon is a very smart and determined person, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals.
