I was in the mood for an easy dessert that was made with strawberry shortcake (and probably a little whipped cream), so I whipped up a batch of lemon curd “berry shortcakes” and ate them with a spoon.
There’s nothing particularly wrong with lemon curd berry shortcakes, but they’re a new version of the classic strawberry shortcake. What makes them different is the addition of curdled milk in the batter and the addition of whipped cream.
If you’ve never tried lemon curd berry shortcakes before, you’re really missing out. I’m not sure if the addition of curdled milk in the batter and the addition of whipped cream make them any more tart than regular strawberry shortcake, but they’re so easy to make.
When I got the recipe to put in curdled milk and whipped cream (and vanilla) I was horrified at the idea that I would be making a recipe that was essentially an ice cream recipe. I think curdled milk and whipped cream is actually better than ice cream. It’s not that icecream is bad, it just isn’t the same.
The reason this recipe is called strawberry shortcake is because I have just made a strawberry shortcake recipe that I think is so easy to make that it’s probably better. I’ve made this recipe for years, and sometimes I make a strawberry shortcake recipe with extra curdled milk, whipped cream, vanilla, and whipped cream.
While this is all good, the recipe I made with extra curdled milk, whipped cream, vanilla, and whipped cream was much better. Its like you just got a whole bunch of ice cream and you want to drink it all. So this is what I would do if I had extra ice cream and whipped cream: I would mix it up and put it in a cup. I then pour the whole thing in a bowl and then cut it into cubes.
In the video above, I’m taking my time, getting a bunch of strawberries, and carefully slicing them into even smaller cubes. Why? Because I want to mix it up and add curdled milk, whipped cream, vanilla, and whipped cream to it. But I’m also trying to cut the strawberries into small cubes to make it easier to add the curdled milk, whipped cream, vanilla, and whipped cream to it later.
But it is worth mentioning that walmart strawberry shortcake is made of milk, cream, vanilla, and whipped cream. I think the curdled milk part is just a play on the word “strawberry.” It’s a staple in strawberry shortcake recipes.
Just like with any type of recipe, when the ingredients are the same, the results will vary. For example, I think the amount of milk in a strawberry shortcake is totally off, but the amount of curdled milk is the same as the whipped cream. Its kind of like making a sandwich with the same ingredients as a pie and calling it a “pie sandwich.
There are so many ways to make strawberry shortcake that I can’t even think of right now. In any case, while you can have one of my recipes, I’m not sure if its on the menu yet.
