For the first time (as far as I know), there’s evidence that a former professional athlete may have been murdered. According to the New York Post, a man who went by the name “Dr. Dre” was found dead in his New York City apartment this morning. His body was discovered by his friend.
The NY Post reports that the victim was the only person who knew Dre’s last name. The police have yet to reveal the nature of the death, but are currently investigating. A source close to Dre’s family tells the NY Post that he was found “sometime between 12:15 a.m. and 1:05 a.m. Monday morning.” It’s also reported that the victim was shot through the head and chest.
The man responsible for Dr. Dre’s death, according to the NY Post, is none other than Dre’s former manager, Dr. Dre’s old friend and confidant, Dr. Dre’s business manager, and, if you believe the NY Post, the man who kept talking to Dre while the rapper was alive. It’s worth noting that Dre was found dead in his apartment, not on a plane.
